An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone who shares our passion to join one of Imagine’s specialist services.

The Role

You will be a valued member of the team, supporting women with a diagnosis of serious mental illness, who have moved out of locked environments in hospital settings to live in their own homes in the community. You will work with them as they continue their recovery, helping them to maximise their independence and achieve their full potential.

This is a women only service. The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting women who may have a label of personality disorder and have experienced trauma in their lives. You may not even have previous experience of supporting people in social care. If you have the right values, we will offer you tailored training and a development programme, so that from the minute you start work with us, you become a valued member of this fantastic team.

You will be open minded, patient, non-judgemental, sensitive, and flexible in your approach to supporting individuals. You will be comfortable with challenge, hard working and able to keep your sights on the longer-term goals that the women seek to achieve. You will work collaboratively with members of Imagine’s team, other multi-disciplinary clinical teams, and most importantly the women themselves, to deliver person-centred, psychologically informed support within a therapeutic environment.
