What you will enjoy doing

  • This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference and lead our UK Healthcare business, spanning sales, commercial, clinical services, patient services and homecare operations
    You will have accountability for the P&L performance of Healthcare, with the responsibility to manage the product and service offering and grow the business. You will also be the senior representative of BOC with key customers such as the NHS
  • With this role comes a high level of people management as you will manage your own team; developing, coaching and motivating them to achieve our goals but also be the senior role model for the entire Healthcare function
  • As Director of Healthcare, you will look after the financial and commercial management which includes planning, forecasting and budgeting effectively as well as managing the pricing and tendering for Healthcare
  • You will understand, anticipate and proactively respond to external market dynamics to enhance business performance whilst championing the ongoing development and delivery of sector strategies, product and service offerings and innovations to meet our customer needs
  • As a role model of our values, you will lead the way and build a team culture that ensures the Healthcare organisation lives our values
  • And finally, you will play a key part in sponsoring and guiding strategic initiatives and programmes with the aim to simplify and digitise the way we work within Healthcare

What makes you great

  • You have 8+ years of relevant senior commercial leadership experience with previous P&L responsibilities
  • In addition, you enjoy leading a team and have the ability to inspire, influence and develop others
  • You have excellent communication skills across different levels with an ability to network and drive change
  • Furthermore, you are an analytical thinker with a desire to generate business growth through creative and innovative ideas using a forward-thinking mindset
  • You have a high level of business, financial and commercial acumen for steering discussions internally, externally with customers and for tenders and negotiations
  • Lastly, you have a knowledge and understanding of the healthcare sector
